Will I need to obtain insurance?
Yes, you cannot perform treatments on public until insured. It is the sole responsibility of the student to ensure they have the relevant pre requisition in order to obtain insurance.
If you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to contact us prior booking on course. We are in partnership with some great Insurance providers.
What If I want to cancel my online course?
No refund will be issued. Any course fees paid are non refundable or transfarrable. Once course is paid, course material gets sent to you, so there’s no possibility of refund.
What if I can’t attend or want to cancel my classroom course?
All course fees/deposits are non re-fundable and non- transferable.
However, in the case of a genuine medical reason (for yourself) a new course date will be offered. Written proof of this must be supplied in form of a statutory fitness for work form /certificate from your GP, a hospital appointment card or hospital discharge papers covering the course date will be required. A doctor’s note or letter is not acceptable. A request for transfer must be received in writing no later than 2 days after your course date. A transfer fee of £30 per training course will apply to reschedule your course. Please note all bookings can be put on hold for a period of 3 months. After this any fees paid will be non refundable.
A transfer of course date due to childcare problems, child illness, holidays, extreme weather conditions or traffic incidents will not be accepted.
What happens if I’m the only person booked on to this course?
If you are the only person booked on your course it may be cancelled and we will offer you an alternative date (no refund will be issued for any fees paid) or you might be asked to attend with a model.
What if Insta Beauty cancels my classroom course?
Insta Beauty may have to cancel your course for reasons outside of our control, i.e. tutor sickness, flood or fire, power cuts or insufficient numbers of students. A new course date will be offered but no refund of any fees will be given.
Insta Beauty can accept no responsibility for any accommodation/travelling costs students may incur due to the cancellation of course.
Do I need to bring a model with me?
In most cases this is no unless stated otherwise as students will work on each other. If you are the only person booked on course you may need to attend with a model but we will let you know if this is required and what time model required.
What if I have special training needs/ requirements?
Where possible we seek to include students with special requirements within our main course delivery. However for some students this may not be possible. Many students with special training needs prefer and gain the most benefit from tailored training on a one to one basis.
Where it is possible adjustments or special arrangements will be considered. Please note an additional cost will apply for training on a one to one basis.
All students are required to give and receive treatments on training days. Any medical conditions which may prevent this should be disclosed in confidence at the time of booking. A female model must be provided by the student where medical conditions prevent receiving treatments.
If you are pregnant please inform us in advance.
What is Dress code for my course?
Dress code is Smart casual, no jeans. Long hair must be tied back. You should have short & clean nails which should be free of polish/nail extensions. Flat and no open toe shoes please. You should be free of eyelash extensions for all courses where you will be working on eyes or face. All piercing on treatment area will have to be taken out prior course. No jewellery apart from one wedding band.
For all treatments you must be willing to give and receive treatments on all areas covered. For waxing course it’s a requirement of the course that all students allow hair growth of 0.05cm in all areas to be treated. This is to ensure fairness to all students to allow equal opportunity to practice.
Please ensure you leave all valuables at home, including any jewellery as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables at the training centre.
What are the classroom course times?
Course times will be stated in welcome email.
Late arrival is extremely disruptive to other students. If you arrive late ( in excess of 15 min) you will be unable to participate in the training as our practical demonstrations will have started and cannot be repeated, resulting in £30 transfer fee for a rescheduled date. Please therefore ensure you allow sufficient time for travel, parking & locating venue.
